From 1750 to 1904 - The Noblet family helped establish France as the centre of woodwind manufacturing.
Noblet to Leblanc - In 1904, with no heir, the business was sold to Georges Leblanc, who was known for using scientific acoustic research.
In 1933 Leblanc patented the technology behind a new smooth sound

In the 40s, 50s, and 60s - Leblanc became the choice of the world's greatest musicians.
A new era of manufacturing begins
2004: Leblanc is acquired by Conn Selmer
